Central and Eastern Europe/Commonwealth of Independent States

  • Poland: Assessment of export potential of Polish companies. Among the companies included in the project was a manufacturer of transformers and heat treatment furnaces for the tooling and aircraft industry.
  • Russian Federation/Kaliningrad: Assistance to a producer of lightning equipment in developing a business plan and implementing a restructuring plan, including the introduction of a management accounting systems and the development of an effective marketing and sales department.
  • Russian Federation/Irkutsk: Support of a Siberian electronics manufacturer, who has access to a very high quality quartz sand supply and developed a new procedure for manufacturing photovoltaic (solar) cells, reducing production cost by 50 to 60% compared to traditional methods. Assistance focused on the elaboration of a business plan, finance, investment planning, partner search.


North Africa/Middle East

  • Algeria: In a project financed by UNDP/UNIDO and the client company we assisted an SME in conducting a diagnosis and in preparing and implementing a 2 year business plan. The client is active in three businesses: the production of transformers for 1 – 75 kVA, boxes for electrical installations for the industry and printed circuits.
  • Egypt: We supported an Egyptian producer of lamps and lighting equipment in implementing a business plan.


Other regions

  • Japan/USA: We elaborated the key technologies and the relative position of a U.S. electronic components supplier, compared to its Japanese competitors.
  • Western Europe: A supplier of vacuum-coating equipment asked us to develop competitive market strategies for CD-, LCD-, data storage disks and wafer fabrication.
  • For one of the leading European supplier of ultra-pure media supply network systems, which are of primary importance in production of semiconductors, we performed a market analysis with several scenarios for future European production of semiconductors.
