Background

Pohl Consulting & Associates (PC&A) was founded in 1987 in Paris and has become today one of the leading European economic development consulting firms. PC&A headquarters are located in Berlin, Germany.

In the beginning of the 1990s, PC&A's geographical scope of activities concentrated on the transition countries of Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Commonwealth of Independent States. Since 1997 activities have developed in virtually all countries of Northern Africa and the Middle East, and further geographical expansion to Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Pacific Region has taken place since 2000. By now, PC&A has implemented projects in more than 70 countries world-wide.

In order to broaden the scope of our services and to increase our presence in the world we have joined forces with FCG Finnish Consulting Group https://www.fcg.fi/eng/welcome/ in 2019.

PC&A's services cover the whole spectrum of economic development, and assistance is provided to both private companies and governmental institutions at central and local levels. The main fields of expertise include development of the private sector, privatisation and regulatory advice, trade, investment and export promotion, regional development and economic and administrative reform, infrastructure development.
